In 1995 the university signed cooperation contracts with the medical universities of Italy (Padua), Cleveland, Ulm, Holland (Amsterdam), Utrecht, and the Royal College of London. In 1995 the university participated in the Conference «Opening the Doors to Home Care Nursing» in Padua-Venice, Italy. Since 1995 the university has been included in the list World Health Organization. In 1996 the university took part in the American Nurses Association conference held in Washington, DC. In 1997 the university entered the European healthcare market. In 2000 the University took part in the Sixth International Self-Care Deficit Nursing Theory Conference held in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2007 the university took part in the forum of the 5th European region held in Helsinki and was awarded a diploma «Creation of a Society Based on the Science, Scientific Technologies, and Modern Progressive Research». In 2007 the rector of the university L. Hambartsumyan on behalf of the European Business Assembly was awarded the Socrates Medal for having a successful social policy in the sphere of humanization of medicine as a science. In 2008 the university participated in the 10th World Congress of Self-Care and Nursing in the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. In 2008 the university also participated in a number of Education and Career specialized exhibitions in Yerevan, where the university introduced its recent achievements, educational programs and admission terms. The University has a number of publications in conference periodicals, as well as medical scientific and practical journals of Armenia and CIS, such as «The Blood», «Medical Science of Armenia», etc.
Most of the alumni of the university are currently working in the sphere of medicine in hospitals, dental clinics, polyclinics, orphanages, elderly houses, Red Cross and some other social-medical local and international organizations.
